Dear Friends and Fellow Golfers, As the end of the year approaches and the holiday season begins, beautiful fall weather is still with us and it’s a wonderful time to come out and golf. Buy an Annual Pass and you can play FREE the rest of the year! See more details below. Lots of new things are happening at the course so take advantage of our CURRENT SPECIALS. We are offering a Fall Football Special, Play ALL-Day Tuesdays and Juniors Play FREE on Wednesdays with a paying adult. We also invite you to play in our November 19th Scramble. When you play, check out the new GPS units recently installed on all the golf carts. GPS Industries has made some subtle improvements to the Visage units on the golf carts to increase their reliability. So come on out and check out this new technology. New leagues are already forming for 2012. New this coming year are two new leagues, a Nine-Hole Scramble on Thursday evenings and a Nine-Hole Points and Skins Game on Tuesdays. We are really proud of our maintenance crew for their outstanding work in making improvements to the course. It has been a difficult journey these past couple of years but I think when you come out to play the course you will see we’re better than ever. We appreciate all of our customers who have made this journey with us and thank you for your patience. We hope you will continue to play and bring out your friends to see the improvements. By this spring, if the weather co-operates, the course will be in its BEST SHAPE ever. As always, my family appreciates your patronage. NOVEMBER19th 2-PERSON SCRAMBLE You are invited to play in the November 19th 2-Person Scramble here at Highland Rim. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, as well as Closest to the Pin Prizes. Entry fee is $65.00 per person. The day starts at 10:30 AM with registration and complimentary range balls. Lunch will be served at 11:00. We will tee off promptly at noon. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, November 15th. Scramble Format: Each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. | NEW LEAGUES FOR 2012 In addition to our current Monday and Thursday leagues, two new 9 hole leagues will be forming. Entry fees for the new 9-hole leagues are $25 each week. Entry fee includes: $12 for 9-hole Green Fee $3 for Closest to the Pin $10 for Prize Pool |
Nine-Hole Scramble On Thursdays, starting April 12th through August 30th, will be the new Nine-Hole Scramble League. Players will be divided by skill level. Teams will then be drawn at random. Register by 4:40 PM, tee off at 5:00. Complimentary range balls at 4:00. |
Nine-Hole Points and Skins Game The new Points Game will run from April 1oth to August 28th on Tuesdays. Points System is a stroke play format where the high total wins, not the low. Your final score is not your stoke total but the total points you have earned for your scores on each hole. For more information call the Pro Shop. Read more... |
Form Your Own League If you would like to form your own league for your church or company contact Garrick in the Pro Shop at 746-0400 or call his cell 268-6863. He will work with you to find a day and time that works best for your group. Popular formats are two person team match play, points games, or alternate shot. Garrick will help you select the best format for your players. |
